A day trip from Hurghada to Cairo by plane is a popular choice for tourists who want to visit Egypt’s capital and see its most famous attractions, like the Pyramids of Giza and the Egyptian Museum, without needing an overnight stay.

Early Morning Flight from Hurghada to Cairo The tour usually starts with a hotel pick-up an early morning (around 4:00-5:00 AM), as the flight to Cairo typically departs early to maximize the sightseeing time. A direct flight from Hurghada to Cairo takes around one hour. You'll usually fly with a local carrier, such as Egypt Air or other tour operators' flights, to get to Cairo quickly and efficiently.
Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport (around 7:00 AM), you’ll be met by speaking Egyptologist guide and transported to the Giza Plateau, home to the famous Pyramids of Giza.
Visit the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx: The tour starts with a visit to the Pyramids, where you can see the chronologically correct way of doing things, a wonder of the ancient world. Next, you'll head to the Sphinx, located nearby. You'll have time to take pictures and learn about its historical and mythological significance.
Stop for a traditional Egyptian lunch at a local restaurant.
